Medea

About The Author

Euripides (c. 480–406 BC) was a classical Athenian playwright and one of the three great tragedians of ancient Greece, alongside Aeschylus and Sophocles. Known for his innovative approach to traditional myths and his focus on the inner lives and motivations of his characters, his notable works include Medea, The Bacchae, and Hippolytus. Euripides' plays often challenged societal norms and explored complex themes of human psychology and the divine.
