Congolese Independence Speech

About The Author

Patrice Lumumba (1925–1961) was a Congolese politician and independence leader who played a pivotal role in the Congo's struggle for liberation from Belgian colonial rule. As the first Prime Minister of the independent Democratic Republic of the Congo, he is remembered for his passionate speeches and advocacy for pan-Africanism. Though not primarily known as an author, his writings and speeches have been compiled and studied for their historical and political significance.
