Fifteen Sonnets of Petrarch

About The Author

Francesco Petrarca (1304–1374), commonly known as Petrarch, was an Italian scholar, poet, and one of the earliest humanists, often considered the "Father of Humanism." His most notable work, the "Canzoniere," is a collection of Italian poems dedicated to his muse, Laura, and is celebrated for its exploration of love and beauty. Petrarch's rediscovery of Cicero's letters is often credited with initiating the 14th-century Renaissance.
