The Dream

About The Author

Mary Shelley (1797–1851) was an English novelist best known for her groundbreaking work, "Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus," which is often credited as one of the earliest examples of science fiction. Born in London to the philosopher William Godwin and the feminist writer Mary Wollstonecraft, Shelley was immersed in a literary and intellectual environment from a young age. Her exploration of themes such as the dangers of unchecked ambition and the quest for knowledge has left a lasting impact on literature, inspiring countless adaptations and discussions on the ethical implications of scientific advancement.
