About The Author

Sir Arthur Thomas Quiller-Couch (1863–1944) was a British writer and literary critic renowned for his contributions to English literature and his role as a professor at the University of Cambridge. He is best known for his anthology The Oxford Book of English Verse and his influential lectures on the art of writing, which were later published as On the Art of Writing. Quiller-Couch's work has left a lasting impact on literary studies and the development of the modern short story.
